Senegambia Beach Hotel

We visited this hotel because o f the lovely gardens but was a little apprehensive after reading some negative reviews well all I can say to those get a life I am a disabled birder and my wife and I had a lovely time in this great hotel,staff from front of house to cleaners gardeners serving staff are all wonderful rooms are spotless clean yes a bit tired but it's Africa seen worse in Europe the grounds are full of wildlife getting around in my wheelchair (electric) was easy managed over a 100 species of birds just in the gardens Omar pool attendant was so helpful ever day.

Excellent position right on the *****, lovely big rooms and big bathrooms. 2 lovely big pools, one quiet one with music and games. Lovely choice for buffet for breakfast every day. something for everyone. Staff were amazing, so friendly and could not do enough for you. Monkeys running around so watch what you leave outside on balconies. We stayed in a superior room and glad we did, some of the others looked grim walking past them. Pool and bar staff were lovely. On-site beauty salon where I was looked after by the lovely Bintu. We booked trips with the tour place just outside the hotel on the left, less than half of what TUI were offering and had a personal guide FAks, who was knowledgable and friendly.

The hotel is so beautiful, nice food , staffs are friendly. Gambians are very friendly and welcoming , sea side, restaurants, rooms , cleaning is to the max , breakfast is amazing, dinner too is delicious, we enjoyed every bit of our stay. Thank yiu

Amazing friendly helpful staff . Lovely clean hotel & grounds. Wonderful wild monkeys which you can hand feed. Lots of wild birds if you enjoy bird watching. Great breakfasr selection. Two lovely pools one quite one & one more lively. Would definitely stay here again . Highly recommended. Relaxing pool bar . Great value .

Had a lovely stay at the Senegambia beach Hotel breakfast was beyond expectations staff were excellent always had a smile for you rooms were clean and comfortable pool area always clean and tidy no problem with sun beds would recommend this Hotel

Had THE best time. Its listed as a 3 star but don't be put off. It's a great hotel in a great location. Everything is at your finger tips. I stayed in double superior room which was close to pool and lovely room. Staff are friendly. Food is great Value for money Close to beach. It was my birthday and they really made a fuss! It was a lovely experience and I will be returning. I travelled alone and felt very safe.

two weeks of sheer relaxation. beautiful weather averaging at 35 degrees. wonderful , friendly, smiling staff. Have to mention the pool guys at the Oasis pool, Omar & Sarjo, who are brilliant at there job around the pool and make you feel so welcome, always smiling and cheerful. We had a superior room in Bantaba block off which was kept spotlessly by our lovely cleaner, Nema. The room was big with a full size under counter fridge, huge bathroom with a huge shower , all very modern. 2nd year in a row here and already booked to come back ,same dates next year. The hotel is perfect location for all the restaurants, all walking distance. highly recommend Valkenburg for Argentina steak & chips, ( best steak easily). Saffron for best indian curries, rice etc. Mango was ok too and definitely more inviting than Saffron to sit in. Paradiso is very good, the dishes in here will blow you away, pizza, pastas, everything so delicious and huge portions. for us the best meal we had was at the Chinese Bamboo ( across road from Scala) absolutely delicious, staff all so helpful and friendly especially Dodo. Biggest disappointment was Scala, always used Scala as always good, but we got ill after eating in their, as did 3 off the titan air stewards, I'm sure there must be more who got ill but haven't come forward. overall we loved our holiday here,
